Made Perfect in Weakness

God has stated, promised, and demonstrated that you are valuable to Him. He created you. He sovereignly cares for you. And He reinforces your worth as you stay close to His Son and your Savior.

So what can you do to help remember your worth in Christ?

  • Thank God…that He created you exactly the way you are. It’s a fact: You are “fearfully and wonderfully made” (Psalm 139:14)…and God never makes a mistake!
  • List…whatever limitations you think you have. Then thank God for each one of them. Your limitations force you to trust God. If God chooses not to remove your limitations, He promises to increase your strength to bear them: “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness” (2 Corinthians 12:9 NKJV).
  • Determine…if there are steps you can take to minimize, improve, or eliminate your limitations. Do you need more schooling? Do you need to shed a few pounds? Would it be beneficial for you to learn how to have better communication or organizational skills?
  • Realize…that any and all limitations are for your good (Romans 8:28) and God’s glory.
