Are you experiencing a difficult problem in your life right now? Are you at a crossroad regarding a major decision? Are you struggling with issues you don’t have answers for? If yes, hear this promise from your heavenly Father: “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him” (James 1:5).
God is always ready and able to give you wisdom. Remember, He is the source of wisdom: “Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God!” (Romans 11:33). And when you don’t understand what is happening, you need to wait, trust Him, and rest in His care. He is always faithful to His own.
Lord, I’ll be the first to admit it — I need Your wisdom!
Help me to wait on You and to put into practice
the things You show me in Your Word. Amen.
