Part 2: He is All, in All

Faith in Jesus is always the antidote for fear. Our courage to fight off the fears of death, suffering, loss, or tragedy finds its strength in Jesus. So, again, when trials arrive, whatever they may be, look to Jesus. Let Him and His presence displace your fears with His courage.

Consider these powerful verses that have bolstered my faith in times of fear…

“The Lord is for me, I will not fear; what can man do to me?” (Psalm 118:6)

“The Lord is my light and my salvation — whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life — of whom shall I be afraid?” (Psalm 27:1)

“For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” (2 Timothy 1:7)

“He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart… no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent.

For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways…”(Psalm 91:4,10,11)

“Have no fear of sudden disaster or of the ruin that overtakes the wicked, for the Lord will be at your side and will keep your foot from being snared.” (Prov 3:25, 26)

The Lord says, “Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” (Isaiah 41:2)

We do not fear because we can count on Him that in all things — He is love, He is faithful, He is hope, He has a plan, and His grace and love is all — in all.

Question: What other verses have encouraged you as an antidote for fear?
